Will Cristiano R7 offer the largest heart in the world to the fondest heart in the world?

There is a heart in Fatima that has passed unnoticed. And everybody is asking whose heart it is. The sculptor is forever ready to explain to the World his Project and what is all about: Fernando Crespo has in mind that the Icon of international Soccer, the Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo be the one to pass on the ball to Pope Francis himself. Even when Francis Pope drove past the Heart on 12 May on his arrival to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, Portugal, he did not fully realise about all that the heart had in stake for him.

That everyman gets no know the Heart story, by heart

Artist Fernando Crespo, the sculptor of the giant Heart “Coraçao Francisco” is wishing to find somebody who will give global visibility to this piece that lays by the entrance to the Sanctuary area in the Portuguese village of Fatima. The Sanctuary was built in honour of Our lady of the Rosary of Fatima, in the district city of Ourem, Portugal, by commission of the same Mother of God to the three shepherds in 1917. Two of these Shepherds, Jacinta and Francisco, were made saints by Pope Francis on 13 may 2017.

In order to accomplish yet another goal, namely the saintly goal of helping out the needy, the person who acquires the author’s rights of the sculpture will as well donate a quantity of money to a charity in Ourem. And this man, Crespo wishes, may very well be CR7.

​Hall of Fame

The Heart of Pope Francis is already a reality of a local and National cultural and religious interest. There is also a project to create e a Hall of Fame along the Promenade by the Sanctuary where the Heart lies, which has been seconded and is fostered by the city hall.The heart of Francis has thus become already a symbol of Fatima for the XXI century. It has even impressed the President of the Republic of Portugal, the Honourable Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa who, even when he could not be present at the inauguration, he visited it personally.

The largest heart in the world for the warmest heart in the worldSpeaking about the project Fernando Crespo commented that if Cristiano Ronaldo accepts to purchase the authors’ rights it would just happen that never before such a large heart would have been given by any higher soccer icon to such a fond heart.

Thus, Coraçao Francisco meets the requirements that combine superbly with the world-class soccer star: Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese National, he has a faith in God above and nobody -or nearly- today would argue that he may be the best soccer player in the world; and he is a personal admirer of Pope Francis, too.

Last but not least Francis’ heart will easily be able to be considered for a Guinness World Record as the largest sculpture of a heart in the world with a size of 12x12 meters. Fernando Crespo has used 88 tons of high density reinforced concrete as well as 22 tons of brass, steel and bronze.

​Fatima is a place of prayer. The most holy virgin promised the three shepherds that after the tribulation in which the world will see itself immersed her immaculate heart will triumph. Heart is the trump card. At present thousands of people of all nationalities want to taken their one picture by the heart and any are the ones that leave their flowers by Francis’s name. As the bishop of leiria Fatima Don Antonio Marto says in the inauguration “this heart will be the symbol of Fatima for the xxi century”
